and yes, I had to break out of my Twitter hiding (https://t.co/85t1VhL9bo) to post this 😆, if you can consider using an alternative platform for communicating @adamhchase@thewheatgerm@wendoverpro#JetLagTheGame
Got my copy after traversing an international border 😆. Suggestion for the next production run of the game @adamhchase, please include metric conversions. Some curses show both (water weight) but most don’t like radars. The Google maps instructions in the rulebook are helpful 👍

At the end of the day, the greatest privilege of my job is working with people who are driven by mission. These last 5 days, I saw people across OpenAI remaining calm and resolute in driving their mission despite all that was happening around them. And I saw people across Microsoft remain focused on our mission and serving our customers and partners, stepping up to help in every way. This is what I’m especially thankful for going into the Thanksgiving holiday. Thank you for your resolve and for the work you do each day to advance AI safely and responsibly and distribute its benefits to all of humanity.

More than that, I would argue that, given their approach, it will not generalize, and will not resist better prompting attacks. Some good comments below give other reasons to be skeptical.
Don't use AI detectors. They do not work. And they accuse innocent people of cheating.
This is a great illustration of how hard it is to figure out how good AI systems are via testing.
GPT-4V solves the famous dog versus muffin image problem… except it doesn’t if the image is changed so it isn’t in the training data… except it does, but only some of the time. 🤷
We made a free five-part YouTube series on Practical AI for Teachers & Students (it might be useful for others, too). All 5 videos👉 https://t.co/XKQUlnFJLz

So, here is a bit of a problem. The current AI is only "good" because it has been trained on mostly human-created data. What happens going forward when most of the internet will now be generated by AI? (my brain hadn't traced the recursion problem to the top level until now.)

"Alternative Instruction for Atypical Learning. AI is a game-changer for neurodivergent students. One of the strengths of the software is that it can be prompted to explain the same concept in several different ways."
