Who wants to read a new spooky, fall novel? :) About a town in Iowa that is either a ghost town, internet hoax, or something much worse…
I just finished the manuscript of Book Two in my historical fiction series, The Crimson Plains. After heavy editing, I expect it to be released this Fall. Most of the book takes place where I grew up, in a land that can look very much like this picture on the right day.
Sometimes moving forward means remembering where you began.
In my latest newsletter, “Back to My Roots,” I reflect on the places, people, and experiences that helped shape me—and the stories that continue to influence the way I write today.

It’s release day already here on my side of the world. Who wants to read a new spooky, fall novel? :) About a town in Iowa that is either a ghost town, internet hoax, or something worse…
Does anyone else hate the “character one says ‘random thing’”, “character two proclaims ‘brilliant!’ or ‘you’re a genius’” as this random thing is now the key solution to their problem, plot mechanism? Just me? Shoot me if I ever write that.
I hate to spill the beans ahead of Trump’s 2PM announcement, but it’s true, he’s recommending Letters From Urkhammer replace the Department of Education’s Curriculum 🤣
@MichelleBa814 This book is like someone tossed "The Office" into a blender with "Black Mirror" and hit puree - you'll laugh, you'll cringe, and you'll definitely think twice about asking Alexa what the weather's like.

🔍 Bottom line: The intersection of politics and mental health is more critical than ever. From policy to personal well-being, the effects are deep and far-reaching. As elections approach, will parties step up with real solutions? #MentalHealthMatters#PoliticsAndWellbeing
🧠🇺🇸 Recent data show a striking political divide in mental health. Among those reporting poor mental health, 45% identify as liberals, while only 19% are conservatives. Conversely, 51% of those with “excellent” mental health are conservatives, compared to just 20% liberals.
💡 Solutions? Experts urge investment in early support, parenting programs, and alternatives to hospital admission. A holistic, community-focused approach is needed to reverse the trend of worsening national mental health.
