Seattle. We love your city more than we can say. Your passion for football and life is energizing. Your footballers — so many local born — are inspirational, and a testament to what can be built in a community that cares so deeply about the game we all love.
To be here in this Emerald Kingdom, partnering with the @SoundersFC , @mls and @walmart to tell the story of soccer in the mighty Pacific Northwest is a joy we do not take for granted.
Our guests last night - ALL of whom are proud sons of the Puget Sound - Marcus Trufant, Jimmy McAlister, Brian Schmetzer, Alex and Christian Roldan, and local hero Paul Rothrock allowed us to truly encapsulate what this sport means to this part of the world… and why there is reason to believed that if every city treated football the way Seattle has treated football, nothing is stopping this nation from reaching World Cup glory 🏆
