On Monday, July 10, 2023, at approximately 9:18 p.m., Hurst Police and Fire units were dispatched to the 1400 block of West Hurst Blvd for a report that a female had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a 37-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the head. (1/4)

The male victim was transported by Hurst Fire Department medical personnel to HEB Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. At this time, the suspect(s) have not been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.

On January 29, 2023, shortly after 9:30 p.m., Hurst Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 500 E. Pecan St. regarding a shooting incident. After arriving, officers located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound.

A new public information release is available to provide some additional information about yesterday's fatality accident. The motorcycle, occupied by two people, traveled northbound on IH820 and stopped due to traffic. (1/3)

The Chevrolet pickup truck traveled northbound on IH820 behind the motorcycle and collided with the rear of the motorcycle. Hurst Medics pronounced one of the motorcycle riders deceased at the scene and transported the other rider to a local hospital. (2/3)

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will handle the release of the victim's identity. The arrested person is still being processed at the Hurst Jail Booking information is currently unavailable for release.

At 12:39 p.m. today, Hurst Police Officers responded to the 700 block of IH 820, Northbound, concerning a major accident involving a truck and motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers found multiple people injured. Unfortunately, one of the motorcycle riders died at the scene. (1/3)

The police investigation resulted in the arrest of the truck driver for Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault. Our CRASH unit and regional partners are working the scene, which may result in a significant impact to traffic.
