Husbeast

husbeast (n.) - a devoted husband, usually spotted in large and hairy forms, playing video games while the wife is busy or asleep.

Officially moving off twitter and over to meta. The value proposition of this platform for leisure/hobby accounts no longer exists. I'll post semiregularly on games I'm playing, completing, enjoying, and/or sucking at.

American Conservatives: We protect the innocent and value their lives at all cost.

Also American Conservatives: Ewwwwww, we didn't mean Palestinian innocents.

American Liberals: Finally, something we can agree on!

I got banned in @RocketLeague for discussing someone else's toxicity in game. I guess I must bow to crudely implemented chat filters and lack of common sense support. #BadCode #BadCustomerService #NoOneActuallyCaresThough

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

@KingJulian_XV does it still even apply?? theres gotta be new gear and recipes and stuff that make my stuff out of date

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Pretty sure I just found a VSS in #StarField which makes me want to ever so briefly go back to playing #PUBG 5 hours a day just to annoy people with that gun.

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

And so it begins... will I enjoy #Starfield as much I enjoyed #Skyrim? I wonder what class build will be the equivalent to a sneaky archer. 🤔

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Hmm, no public trading system in #DiabloIV, which kinda blows. The multiplayer aspect of this game is a lot thinner than I was expecting, and I wasn't expecting much.

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

#DiabloIV ultimate acquired. I didn't play beta. I have no idea what's in it. But if there's a market or auction house mechanic... you know i'll have my spreadsheets!

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

@CyberpunkGame is the prettiest game I've ever played. The landscapes of RDR2 are great, but the immersive, detailed city was better. On to the next game... #Completed

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

I am willing to bet there is a non-zero number of 3-sibling families where the childrens' names are Peter, Paul, and Mary.

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Time to finally play @CyberpunkGame all the way through. Ive started and stopped 4 times. 5th times the charm! It looks spectacular on the 4090. Especially the neon effects.

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Been playing #Fallout76 thanks to my @humble monthly sub. Quick hits!

Play if: a. you love the FO4 universe and b. gunplay. It feels like a great FO4 DLC.

Avoid if: a. you want immersive MMO experiences or b. you require a working trading structure or c. hate freemium tropes

In a game like Valheim, its the little things that bring so much joy. Todays little thing, Lox taming, breeding, and relocation to a gorgeous lush meadow for even more breeding.

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

So I couldn't power through and "finish" @MyTimeAtPortia, but I think that is a function of my gaming play style and not the game itself. I'm putting it on hold, and getting back on @Valheimgame to experience Mistlands. Here's a few pics of my seaport cafe (wip).

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Today is the day I decommission my Little Desktop That Could. So long XBMC (I never upgraded it to 'kodi'), and Plex, and BT, and Itunes version 12.1, and CCCP Codec, and, most of all, goodbye Windows 7.

What's your oldest, functioning PC and what do you use it for?

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

@KAZERKILL92 @playnewworld <3 ಥ‿ಥ

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Well this roleplay was fun while it lasted. Upset more that @playnewworld would let this stand. Their rpt system is flawed and favors real trolls. So to keep my own head clear, I'm just not going to play again. I have dozens more games that are, now, more deserving of my time.

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

@CannonClouds @playnewworld Awww no really? Maybe I'll come back for a special report, maybe. <3

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Alrighty, #HadesGame is story-complete. On to the next game in my backlog... @MyTimeAtPortia from @Team17 Fresh install, never played, but I love Stardew Valley, so lets see about this!

[Husbeast @HusbeastTV]

Yessss, I beat #HadesGame. Sorta. I mean, I haven't completed the game, but I got out of hell finally. Is this enough for me to cross it off of my "to-beat" list? Or will I wanna still play it to 100% story completion... hmmm...
