@TouchHerDaisy //I think the open world is just really dragging down an otherwise decent game. Like if they aren’t going to take the time to make the world something I would want to explore then why make it. The only thing you get for exploring is upgrades to your gear. It’s just so lame.
@XXUpsidedown //I just think that that Starfield game is going to come out and show people what an open world is supposed to be like. Which is more like Skyrim where I actually want to explore the world. It just feels like Zelda’s is open just for the sake of it.
@XXUpsidedown //I just don’t think that excuse works anymore for these games. These games is Nintendo attempting to ‘play with the big boys’ and it feels 15 years behind them in so many ways. The open worlds drags an otherwise decent game imo
@XXUpsidedown //Well I think that’s just inherently a problem. Like if you aren’t going to make a world that’s interesting then why make it at all? It could have just been a Zelda that’s more contained and focused on quality as opposed to quantity.
@TouchHerDaisy //I think the open world just takes away from what is otherwise a decent game. I think it’s trying to do everything at once at it fails at being great at most of those things as a consequence. It’s not a good world imo but the gameplay is really well made.
@XXUpsidedown //I genuinely think the open world aspect is the worst part of the game. I hate going across the empty world just to upgrade my gear and it’s just not interesting enough to justify trekking across it. I think it feels like several Zelda levels stretched into a big world
Imagine if Sony exclusives could have the core gameplay loop of Nintendo games
And imagine if Nintendo could have the production value and accessibility Sony and literally everyone else has.
Like letting me change my controls or letting me have more saves could be a start-
//Nintendo is so good at having games that are so strong at their core, having mechanics and gimmicks that are actually fun and actually relevant to the whole game. Maybe even the best at it.
But they’re SO BAD at literally everything else that it almost balances it out.
//Okay so initial thoughts. It still looks really bad (on a technical level, NOT an artistic level)
The style is pretty but it doesn’t carry it enough to not make the performance and visuals not very visibly bad.
It still has the controls I think are really bad
a BIT ripped off.
I know this was mostly negative but the game IS fun.
But it’s not worth the price.
It would be worth the normal price games usually are.
