Science: Air and Aerodynamics
In this experiment we were proving that air exerts pressure by seeing who could drink their water the fastest. Unbeknownst to them, all but one straw had holes in it. Ask your child why this impacted being able to drink the water! 💦
The grade 6s had James Durbano and the Astrodome @planetarium51 visit today. It was a great way to help the Sky Science concepts come alive! The kids loved going in the portable planetarium! 🪐

Today we talked about bullying & the different types. Students drew a role: bully, bullied, bystander, or brave & discussed what each role means, why someone may fall into that role, how someone in that role behaves, & how they might feel. They dug deep & had powerful discussions
