@JewishWarrior13 The idea that 4 groups of liars (American, Iranian, Qatar, and Pakistan) will forge out an actual agreement with any sort of legitimacy is hard to envision. IMO this is simply to buy time to drop prices/build up reserves before the midterms. Far more likely than ME Peace!
@mitchellvii Without hard stipulations to abandon their support of terror/Shia Islamic ideology, it's laughable to think Iran will be a friend of the U.S. Of course, that's assuming this administration isn't being bought off by Qatar to look the other way on IRI terror.....
@J_L_Fairchild Exactly. The IRI ALSO has this as a goal as does Hamas. Qatar, Pakistan, and Turkey also have this mindset even though they do it more covertly.
@RepLuna@VP No....having Vance, Witkoff, and Kushner literally hand Iran control of the straight, protect their terror proxies, and basically let Qatar and Pakistan control the talks is sickening. It's Obama/Biden level capitulation
@Shawn_Farash LOL - expecting unarmed people to take on armed IRGC guards is laughable. They needed help that nobody gave them.
On top of it, the Iranian people suffered even more because of the economic stuff. Meanwhile, the US lets the regime survive!
@RapidResponse47@VP He's a moron if he thinks a theocratic terrorist group will change their behavior. Even the MOU doesn't have them stopping support of their terror proxies.
@WhiteHouse Without concrete agreements to ensure that Iran won't produce nuclear weapons or give up their enrichment stockpiles, that they won't financially and militarily support the terror proxies, that they won't launch attacks on their gulf neighbors, it's a humiliating surrender by USA
@mdubowitz The idea that the US and Iran could not even negotiate directly but through Pakistan and Qatar tells you everything too. No way the IRGC follows the deal.
@mdubowitz Based upon the leverage the US and Israel had over Iran - giving them anything other than unconditional surrender of their nuclear program, cap on missiles, and stopping all support of terror proxies was pure INCOMPETENCE and betrayal for Israel and the Iranian people.
@Polymarket It's unfair to allow said country to keep missiles or drones for that matter if they can't control themselves not to fire them at other countries. Something the U.S. absolutely could enforce if they weren't bought off by Qatar and other Gulf countries
@JackPosobiec LOL - so we allow a terrorist organization that kills it's own people to survive and it also completely destroys the claim that the blockade was in control of Hormuz.
