Tomorrow is Sports Day. Students may wear items of clothing that represent their house colour (no cropped tops or hot pants).

The forecast is cooler than the past couple of days, however, please ensure your child has a refillable water bottle, wears suncream and a hat.

With temperatures expected to be at a record high on Monday and Tuesday, students may attend school in their HYA PE kit or without their blazer. Please ensure your child wears sun cream and brings a refillable water bottle to school so they can access water throughout the day. ☀️

A massive congratulations to our students who came 3rd today in the University Maths Challenge at Edge Hill. There were 161 teams that entered, with 12 teams attending the final today. A fantastic achievement. HYA are so proud! @UnitedLearning #educationwithcharacter @edgehill

Tonight we hosted our first Primary School University Challenge. This will be an annual event where primary schools will test their knowledge against each other, to be crowned champions! Our 1st winners @GHStJohns! Well done to everyone who took part. A fantastic evening.

Work has started on the jetty to the canal. Once the trees had been cut back we were surprised to see how much of the original jetty was still there. We are looking forward to getting our students on the water. #educationwithcharacter
