Sorry for the hiatus from posting new Hycians these past few weeks. The holiday season and traveling left me in a position where I was unable to get any work done. I’ll be back to posting 4 new characters for the game every week starting this Friday
@igdmag Hycia still has lots of progress to be made, but this card game already has a physical beta being used for playtesting. It features tons of characters, all inspired by the creatures that make up our underwater world! You can meet them all on the website:

@Ryanwolfe_ohr It’ll be a long time before this project can be considered complete, and that’s mostly because of how many characters there are left to design. I’ve been trying to stay consistent with progress, and the game is being playtested/updated thanks to the beta I was able to get printed
I’ve already been able to start looking through all of the cards (printed to perfection by those working at https://t.co/pjnxH1iRGb) and have even hosted an extensive playtesting session, gathering new insight and information all the time. New characters will return next Friday!
Happy Friday! I know it’s been a few weeks since I disappeared from posting my weekly updates, but that’s because I’ve been working on something quite big! That’s right, I’ve finally managed to finish getting a printed beta of the game delivered and ready for playtesting!
Since there are a lot of new characters it’s a bit tough sharing all of their bios in one post. If you wanna get to know what these new characters are all about as well as what their performance is like for the card game, check their bios on the website:

Happy (late) Halloween! I made a full 6-batch of characters this week all inspired by everything spooky-season, from witches, to werewolves, to bats and vampires, even killers from slasher flicks!
I’ll post more on them including their bios tomorrow 🧡💜
Week 6 of updates:
Making some changes to the card formatting. Be sure to see the full encyclopedia on the main website, it’s been updated!

@IndieCreateZone Hycia is a casual, strategy-based card game made for those who love learning about marine biology. There are tons of characters and locations, and everything takes inspiration from our own underwater world (ocean life as well as freshwater rivers)
