A rare tweeter. Don't follow if you lack excitement and please forgive the odd gaff as I get to grips with this. Currently giving up smoking and The #Archers.
Went Thurs and it was brilliant! One of the very best shows I've seen. Last day today. @NODANorthEast and @MakingMusic_UK
The Dewsbury Collegians have done it again! Their latest production of The Full Monty was a roaring success. https://t.co/KyD42GDXmV

“Why can’t we know the names of all those fined in Downing Street?” demands Sun. “Is your deputy editor one of them?” asks Eye. “We’re not telling you” responds Sun. Full story in the new Private Eye, out today.
How truly terrible. A really trusted voice like @BBCSteveR now silenced. I don’t even recall this happening at the height of the Cold War when his brilliant predecessors were there. Russia’s slide towards totalitarianism nearly complete #Ukraine

@astronomyblog Well you have to live in places that have these wonderful things :) I grew up calling them gennels (soft g) in Sheffield, moved to Scotland (vennels) and find that round Leeds it’s ginnels except in Birstall where they are snickets... I still call then gennels.
@LloydHardy Gosh I miss Eddie Mair. Watched this at the time (years ago now - 2013?) when he replaced Andrew Marr one Sunday. Couldn't believe how people seemed to forget it every happened and voted for him. Is there a collective amnesia disease going round that I've not had yet?
