Hello everyone. Well the time has come to close the gates to our walled garden so we can prune, plant and prepare for 2026. Our outer garden is open all year so you can still get your fill of Hydrangeas. #Derby#Hydrangea
We are here and setting up for our official Open Day at Darley Park in #Derby come and visit the collection for a free tour today Aug 10th. Meet close to the cafe.
@Patrick4Dales Glad you enjoyed your visit Patrick. Our collection is looking wonderful. A correction however as our yearly Open Day is TOMORROW! Aug 10th, not Sept 10th ! Could you share the open day details please.
We have been so lucky to have a group of young visitors to our garden in recent months. Look at this amazing production by Ashwood Spencer Year 6 who interviewed our volunteers π #Derby#Hydrangeas

At our collection at Darley Park in #Derby now that spring has arrived we have been out feeding the collection with blood, fish and bone fertiliser donated by Swarkestone Nursery, a great local plant outlet just outside Derby. #Hydrangea#DarleyPark
Break time at Hydrangea Derby volunteer session - our first day back of the season - and what a lovely morning. Working together in the collection brings us all together - as does coffee, tea and good chat. #Derby#Hydrangea#DarleyPark
And we are BACK - back in the collection as Hydrangea Derby volunteers return for the new season. A wonderful sunny morning saw plenty of work taking place including weeding and wood chip application. #Derby#Hydrangea#DarleyPark
