@HMRCcustomers This is why people get so angry when they phone you. The system makes it so hard to get through to solve an issue and they were the ones that end up getting penalties for not solving the issue in time. This is unacceptable for a government helpline, do better!

@HMRCcustomers This is genuinely unacceptable, how am I meant to solve the issue I'm having if I can't get in contact with an actual person. What I need help with isn't on your website and the automated phone line is useless as it won't connect me to a person to speak to.

@HMRCcustomers Wouldn't put me on hold to wait for an advisor again. This absolutely ridiculous as it says you shut at 8pm and it's only the back off 5 and I called first just before 4pm.

@HMRCcustomers Phoned up your helpline, sat on the phone for over 70 minutes to then get a message saying we can't help you goodbye and the phone went dead. Tried phoning back several times and it just kept saying were busy, can't help you, goodbye.
