Like Van Hecke. Right now my only worries are:
- Lack of explosiveness. Very evident when accelerating seems to take a bit of time to get up to speed.
- Reluctance using his left foot/side in carrying, tackles, clearances and passing
Once again it feels a bit clouded in terms of squad planning, I presume right now it looks like.
RBs: Pedro Porro & Spence
RCBs: Van Hecke, Vuskovic, Danso
LCBs: Van de Ven, Senesi
LBs: Udogie, Robbo
Unless Vuskovic is being loaned, or Danso being sold?
Makes the Gallagher signing so shit because that midfield still feels so bloated and messy.
Shit needs to be sorted for likes of Gray and Bergvall rather than Palhinha, Benta and Gallagher.
Savio and Kudus, does look GOOD but lacks output. Move on Richy, and get a TOP nine and I think we’ll be starting to look nice. Who that 9 is in this market, and who we can sign, I do not know.
But then, the last things this squad needs is players like Harry Wilson, who 100% would come our way, but is that necessary? Not in my eyes.
Spurs need to think smart for once, Lange needs fucking off, avoid signing filler.
Spurs are in a bit of a crossroads at the moment I feel, especially after the season gone by. I want the HIGH level quality this squad needs, but right now do we have the ability to pull those players in?
Sat watching Alvaro Montoro for Botofogo & ye he’s special.
No doubt he’s snapped up by Forest or someone like that who shop in Brazil. What a joy he is to watch, glides with the ball, rides tackles so well, finds solutions in right spaces constantly, can hold width and play wide or play in the pockets and hurt teams that way.
Don’t think I’ve been as certain a player will go to the top as I have with him, has it all, finding consistency is the next step for him, but how he changes direction and uses both feet is mega.
I promise you, he will be top.
Biggest L for Spurs this year, as a fan, is how much shit we’ve either had to defend or just accept.
The lack of push back against decisions going against us, behaviour like Romero’s this week, the negligence of Lange and Vinai in Jan.
No accountability at all.
Europa League getting the respect it deserves, such a good avenue for a great season and a way into UCL.
It all feels natural, give me a Europa League winning campaign and securing UCL over finishing 4th/5th.
Best thing UEFA done in a while was stopping teams from dropping down to other European comps.
Seen so many unbelievable moments from historic clubs, all across Europe since it’s happened.
Spurs last year, Villa, Palace, Rayo this year, many more i’m forgetting about.
Started the season dreaming big in Udine vs PSG, ending the season dreading mid week games in the Championship vs Preston North End.
This isn’t shit that can anger you, it’s just sad.
I should never accept a world where I watch us play a season in the second tier but I’m prepared.
We’d have some fun in the second tier, different vibes, new chants and hopefully up first time of asking with a fresh feel back in the PL. It’s gonna be sad regardless.
Realised I ent spoke on here in a minute, I hope everyone is prepared for a season in the second tier next year.
A significant cultural and historical reset at Tottenham Hotspur.
