You may notice Qingxiao always seems to accompany a certain white flower in animations, even in her songs. This is the plum blossom, which in Chinese culture symbolises beauty and perseverance amidst hardship, as it blooms early in the middle of winter and snow.

Qingxiao's sig weapon description actually quotes Lin Bu's 'Plum Blossom in a Mountain Garden', "碎影横斜" coming from, "疏影横斜水清浅" (WuWa's 'Sparse shadows fall tilted on a rain of petals' vs. Lin Bu's 'Sparse shadows fall tilted on clear, shallow water'). In the poem, Lin Bu says how the plum blossom is "why we love this small garden"- the way I take it is that the tenacity and beauty of the mortal plane, this "small garden" is the insignificant beauty that Qingxiao chooses over the might of transcendence and immortality that she should be destined for as a cultivator.

OK so obligatory analysis here collating some of the stuff that I've gone through in general with Mengzhou and stuff:

1) So more detial on Hsin's Sentinel power being the division and multiplication of entities.

I think this isn't raw duplication, but more focused on dividing something into more parts to make more of them, like how a starfish can fragment itself to grow new starfish). Essentially, I don't think Hsin can create entirely new matter, but divide one whole into smaller parts then make each piece develop.

In 3.6 we got some instances of how Ruoyang is part of the spirit of the Autopuppets while the rest of the CSC engineers are MIA and not there, so it may be that the Autopuppets are actually utilising a sort of biological AI derived from a few people.

2) All of the Autopuppets and creations/consciousness are tied back to her like some sorta summoner class character, but very interesting here is that it seems that SENSATIONS are shared, possibly back to the source/host? That would mean that Hsin is under immense strain basically being the CPU running thousands of sentient processes and gets hurt everytime an Autopuppet goes down

When you think about how Xuanfang's theme seems to be heavily centered on automation with Hsin mentality of "I would not take two lives if I could take one", it actually kinda makes sense perhaps. Ruoyang and perhaps the other Celestials (CSC engineers?) are currently trapped to fuel the consciousness of Autopuppets + Hsin managing everything forever while the rest of the people of Xuanfang don't have to face as much danger.

3) Hsin is an expert in mechanisms and has even in 3.6 been seen saying that she is withholding information/technology from the people, but what's interesting is that apparently part of that ties into her power of Fractal Proliferation, which allows her to "extrapolate, reproduce, and even reconstruct existing designs". This almost feels like she has some kind of WH40K Standard Template Construct from Rover's Homeland Civilisation which she plays around with.

Remember though, it has been stated by Shorekeeper that no Sentinel knows about the existence of the Exostriders and as such much about the Homeland Civ. So Hsin may have a manual of incredible technologies, but not fully understand it herself.

4) Supporting all this, you can see that a lot of Hsin's design language and quotes so far are focusing on burning and keeping fires alight, for e.g. "she has long kept the fires of mortal life burning amid the bustle of trade and the shifting of seasons".

We've talked about this Chinese symbol when covering Suisui already, who shares a similar conviction, '万家灯火', where the fires/lights in people's homes are a metaphor for the endurance of civilisation. Hsin, in her own way perhaps has been paying the price for maintaining the peace and doing her job as a Sentinel even if it seems like she has been absent.

5) You can see the looming 'celestial' form that towers above her human one is much more heavenly, makes sense considering that the Xinyuehu (Heart Moon Fox) is fundamentally a divine existence under the Azure Dragon's mansion.
