You’re going about this the wrong way, Dinesh.

There aren’t enough American grads to do the work because the US education system has been steadily hollowed out, mostly thanks to decisions made at the Department of Education, but there’s no need to turn that into a public humiliation of the people who went through that system.

The answer isn’t to bring in foreign replacements. It’s to actually repair the system. That means getting rid of ideological hiring, raising standards for teachers, making it possible to remove administrators and educators who aren’t performing, and bringing merit back into the process instead of box-checking.

American education needs a serious reset. Swapping out American graduates for foreign workers doesn’t solve the underlying issue: a growing population that isn’t being trained well and can’t find stable work. All that does is raise unemployment and breed frustration among people who feel locked out of opportunity.

And with AI accelerating, even many of the jobs currently filled by foreign workers are going to disappear. If you end up with a huge pool of young men who are unemployed, under-skilled, and angry, history shows it usually leads to outcomes nobody wants.
