Go to sleep every night asking Allah for forgiveness for the people you've hurt today, for the sins you've committed intentionally and in error, and wake up every morning praising Allah and thanking Him for allowing you another chance at life. Always show gratitude.
It is amazing how peaceful life becomes when we learn not to react with our emotions to every single thing we notice. We start to make clearer, calculated, and calm decisions that tend to be less impulsive, more decisive, and completely connected with our true inner values.
Do not let the heavens miss your voice, be a servant whom the angels recognise when you supplicate, you utter your demands and they say "Our Lord, it is a well known voice from a well known slave"
Believe me; it is not a problem if you don't have a best friend as long you have Allah (God)! So cheer up and remember He is always there, listening, seeing, and watching over you.
