Jungle movement
During #JPMRC-X in the Philippines, Soldiers assigned to 2-27th IN, 3rd MBCT, 25th ID moved through complex jungle terrain while training on reconnaissance, suppressive fires and objective seizure.
No weak links
7th ID Soldiers spent the week competing for the title of Best Squad.
The competition tested endurance, tactical skills, problem-solving and the ability to keep working as a team through long days and hard events.
Moving the guns
During #JPMRC-X, Soldiers from 25th DIVARTY & 25th CAB moved M119 howitzers across the training area by UH-60 Black Hawk.
After the sling-load drop, crews from 3-7 FA surveyed the landing zone, calculated fire data and prepared the guns for follow-on operations.
Recon from the air
During #Balikatan 26, aviation crews from U.S. Army Task Force Saber, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, conducted a multiship reconnaissance flight with AH-64 Apache helicopters over coastal waters in the Philippines.
Common ground
#JPMRC-X and #Salaknib 26 brought U.S., Japanese, Australian, New Zealand and Philippine forces together in the Philippines for combined training focused on readiness and interoperability.
