Though a part of me is sad that I didn't get the job, there's a part of me which understands the logic of it from the business angle. Like why will I pay you when I can get free labour? Corporate world is sick and ruthless. They'll use you and suck you out cold and dry!

A firm which I interviewed for took interviews of so many people for the role of senior consultant and ghosted them only to hire a bunch of semi-qualified CAs for half their salary and get the same job done. I feel sorry for the ones selected cos I was there a few years ago!
