WE AGREE ➡️While headlines across Europe often focus on unrest and street violence, another story is unfolding in Paris—one that deserves attention.👍
On June 20, tens of thousands of Iranian expatriates and supporters are expected to gather at Place Vauban for what organizers anticipate will be one of the largest Iran-focused rallies in Europe this year.
Participants will be calling for an end to executions in Iran and expressing support for democratic change. The event is expected to feature a peaceful, highly organized gathering of Iranians and supporters from across Europe. #100KFreeIranRally

Yes. The regime uses international competitions to whitewash its crimes against the Iranian people and its athletic installations to identify pro-democracy protesters. Impunity must end if we want the threat from Iran to also end.

At least 18 prisoners were executed in Iran over just two days — May 31 and June 1 — with one victim 'hanged in public with utmost brutality,' according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
One human rights group tracking the killings says the real number is 'almost certainly' higher than the 784 they've documented this year because the regime 'frequently carries out executions in secret.' Five more political prisoners in Sheiban Prison face imminent execution right now.

Alongside these executions and repression in Iran, there is another factor acting as an obstacle to the people's uprising, that is the remnants of the Shah’s dictatorship. Through fascist slogans and activities, they promote a return to the former dictatorship.
I wish to recall the wise words of Mr. Jim Shannon, Member of Parliament. He correctly described the remnants of the old dictatorship as "a wolf in sheep's clothing."
Our slogan, "No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs," marks the path that will lead the people of Iran to ultimate freedom and a democratic republic.
Tehran uses the terrorist IRGC to control sports & suppress freedom-seeking athletes, in violation of FIFA rules. Habid Khabiri, former captain of Iran's national soccer team, and Forouzan Abdi, a former member of the women's national volleyball team, were executed.#FIFAWorldCup
