Parliament: I raised concerns at #Crawley Council’s mismanagement of taxpayers’ money, despite significant Government funding support (with a further £5.6m grant for the latest period of Covid-19 restrictions) along with over £20m in Town Hall reserves unused to help residents.

Pleased to join with The Climate Coalition in Parliament - supporting a future where we are no longer a cause of global warming and achieve net zero carbon emissions.
It is not “perfectly legitimate” to deport people who have lived here all their lives, without allowing them access to legal advice. That’s what happened. That’s why the Court of Appeal reached the decision it did.
Is @grantshapps dishonest or stupid?
@baronesspawsey @PaulReadGB@steve_shorty@somersetlevel@CarolineLucas Unfortunately that isn’t how the law works, many of these people have lived in Britain since early childhood and have no or very few connections to Jamaica. They are being deported simply because they don’t have the paperwork to prove their citizenship
