JMSN’s debut album ‘Priscilla’ dropped on January 11, 2012 and was sort of an opening to Pandoras box and everything happening in his life at the time. Released independently, the album was entirely written and produced by himself and was JMSN peeling back the layers to who he is and presenting the most authentic version of the art that he wanted to make. Usher later told NME Magazine that it was his favorite album of 2012. It was this album where JMSN began taking everything he had learned from his years within the ‘industry’ and sharing the realest version of himself with the public. It wasn’t about the business or chasing a hit single — it’s been entirely about the music and the art around it from this point on. The album was darker with visuals throughout that often contradicted the music. Almost 15 years later, the album has been stamped by fans as a modern classic.
