Dear Students,
Quit worrying about a grade! You would all have good grades anyway if you came to class each day with an attitude of, “what can I learn today to become more successful.” Please learn to learn and stop learning for a grade.
Sincerely,
Teachers Who Love You
As I get to work with student behaviors each day at school I constantly try to remember that every moment is a teaching moment. Everyone makes mistakes. No one is perfect. Love should always come before a consequence.
Don’t be quick to punish a kid for bad behavior. Spend more time coaching, teaching, and rewarding good behavior. Help them understand their own emotions and how to control their feelings. Kids learn from being taught, not told.
The great “I AM”
Let us celebrate His birth, His life, His death, His resurrection, and His perfect example. We all need to strive to be more like Him.
“My kid would never do that.”
I’ve heard so many parents use that statement to try and defend their kids.
Parents, it’s okay if your child makes a mistake. Kids are going to do kid things. Instead of denying the wrong, let’s teach kids how to learn from their mistakes.
When facing problems with parents, children, friends, neighbors, co-workers, or any other individual, always take a step back and look at the issue through a different lens. Looking at the problem from a different point of view may help you create the best solution.
We teach kids math.
We teach kids science.
We teach kids how to
read and write.
- Do we teach kids how to behave properly? -
Don’t be quick to punish kids for bad behavior. Spend more time teaching and rewarding good behavior. Kids learn from being taught, not told.
“IF IT’S CLOSE SWING THE BAT”
Too many of people play it safe and never take an opportunity when it’s presented in front of them. Don’t be afraid to take chances. Win or lose you still learn and it’s the constant learning that makes you a better person in the long run.
Jr High Student Question on Holocaust Rememberance Day:
“Hitler was an evil man for killing 6 million Jews. So how many babies have to die from abortion before we consider it an evil act as well? Does this make people who support abortion much like Hitler?”
How do you answer?
