What an amazing day.
Today I was honored for my work in Corrections in an indigenous recognition ceremony. I was gifted this beautiful picture and an eagle feather with a case (used in the recognition ceremony). I am truly touched by this.
As a member of the Bay of Quinte Pride Committee, I was honored to be s part of this with everyone. It is opportunities like this that provide a safe place for everyone to grow. It was out first youth summit and we had a great turn out . Happy Pride everyone.
Stacey is an Independent Education and Support worker for the LGBTQ2S community. Primarily most of her work is in Correctional Institution across Ontario. She provides training to staff, facilitates groups and supports 300+ offenders 1:1.
Her work is a welcome resource.
