Recognition:

In 2025, he won a keenly contested election for the membership of the INTERPOL Africa committee, which secured the fifth seat on the committee for Nigeria.

He was voted the Area Commander of the Year in 2021.

In 2007, he was honoured with the “Outstanding African Nations Builder’s Gold Award” in Accra, Ghana.

He has won the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) Award on two previous occasions.
