@j_raytheon17 @n4ski37 @piper4missouri Our long time Rep Ruth was one of the only republicans in the house to vote no on RTW but she term limited. The house republicans are trying to make the petition process harder so when they vote this though with their supper majority the next time it will be harder to overturn.

@DSdad1982 @piper4missouri I hope you are right. As Democrats we always seem to be saying wait until the next generation is voting then things will change. Well here I am hearing the same message I heard in my first election in 2004. And still overwhelming support for the GOP in the subs.

I once was a young voter who was told we would change politics in MO and things have only drifted right. BTW this was an opportunity teach

My intent in this post was to create dialogue with people and learn but sadly social media has too many keyboard warriors. Jess has always had effective messaging and I am curious on her thoughts.

@cabbageridge @piper4missouri Agreed, but I really haven’t seen any poling that tells me otherwise. We have been told since I was a young voter that the younger generations will change this yet every statewide election gets more and more republican.

@n4ski37 @piper4missouri My point in all this is we have been told since I was a young voter that the GOP should be afraid of the younger generations coming up but I just don’t see it. I really think the messaging isn’t canvassing the group we think it is.

@n4ski37 @piper4missouri I am active in many community organizations such as Scouting, Baseball, and have attend several high school sporting events where this is always prevalent. I have lived in the community all my life and now you can’t even put a yard sign up in support of Democrats anymore.
