There are two kinds of residents in Bharat.

The first kind stands up instinctively when they hear Vande Mataram. For them, Bharat is not lines drawn on a map by history books but she is Maa. A living civilization. A mother whose soil carries the ashes of our ancestors and the dreams of our children. These are the people who salute the Tricolour with pride, and sleep peacefully because someone in uniform is awake in the freezing mountains.

And then comes the second kind.

For them, Bharat is merely “a geographical entity.” Vande Mataram is “too dramatic,” patriotism is “outdated,” and respecting national symbols is apparently a threat to intellectual freedom. They sip imported wine in air-conditioned rooms, enjoy every freedom this country gives them, and then spend evenings explaining how the nation and its institutions itself are the real problem.

If a terrorist attacks the country, they first search for “context.”
If soldiers die, they search for “counter narratives.”
If institutions act, they cry “fascism.”
But when the enemy speaks, suddenly their fact-checking department goes on vacation.

To them, our armed forces are villains, our traditions are backward, and our civilisation is something to be embarrassed about. Ironically, they enjoy the protection, freedom, and opportunities of the same Bharat they constantly mock.

A person’s relationship with Bharat tells you everything about them.
Some see a Mother.
Some see Real Estate.

This video speaks louder than a thousand debates.

And proudly, unapologetically, I belong to an organisation that believes Bharat is not just a nation to live in, she is a mother to live and die for.

Organised by @prajnapravah (Delhi Praant), the event brought together a distinguished panel of scholars and strategic experts, including Shri @kumarnandaj Ji (National Convener, Prajna Pravah), Prof. Shantesh Kumar (Sanyojak, IR Aayam-Prajna Pravah, Delhi Praant), Dr. Sushmita Rajwar (JNU), Prof. Manish, and Prof. Rajeev Kumar (Central University of Haryana).

In his address, Director Binay Kumar Singh deconstructed the shifting dynamics of contemporary global interconnectedness, emphasising that in our hyper-connected global ecosystem, geopolitical tremors in one quadrant inevitably reverberate across India’s strategic landscape. He observed that while modern global conflicts remain perpetual because state actors trigger wars without a structural pathway to conflict-termination or reconciliation, India’s historical template offers an excellent alternative. Our decisive execution of Operation Sindoor demonstrated a rare strategic paradigm that the capacity to wage war, secure core national interests, and swiftly transition back to a stable, enduring equilibrium.

Ultimately, whether navigating the complexities of Yuddha (war) or structuring the foundations of Shanti (peace), the world must look to Bharat's civilisational ethos of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam to find a sustainable, holistic roadmap for global harmony.
