The people earning a MAXIMUM WAGE of ₦30 MILLION every month are the loudest voices telling us that our ₦500,000 minimum living wage prescription for Nigerian workers is “too much.”

Even more disturbing, some of the poorest among us are on social media defending this cruel inequality, claiming that paying workers a decent wage will cause inflation.

₦30 million for them is acceptable, but ₦500,000 for a Nigerian worker is inflationary?

Of course, Tinubu @officialabat did it so that you, @AlikoDangote, and your friends could get richer while millions of Nigerians became poorer.

That is not governance. It is a PADI PADI GOVERNMENT, a government of friends, by friends, and for friends.

The #Sowore2027 government will restore fuel subsidies transparently and accountably so Nigeria’s petroleum wealth actually benefits Nigerians.

@DangoteGroup benefited from enormous state support to build his refinery. Then Tinubu removed the subsidy ordinary Nigerians depended upon, forcing the people to absorb crushing fuel prices while big business continued to enjoy preferential treatment.

They tell Nigerians that subsidy is evil, but what do they call tax concessions and waivers for billionaires? SUBSIDY.

What do they call preferential foreign exchange arrangements? SUBSIDY. What do they call discounted or preferential access to public land and infrastructure? SUBSIDY.

Apparently, subsidy only becomes a dirty word when POOR NIGERIANS are the beneficiaries.

We reject this economic apartheid. Nigeria’s wealth must work for the Nigerian people, not just a privileged circle of billionaires and their friends in government.
