My takeaway:
Credentials give access.
Identity tells you who’s acting.
But authority should remain with the participant—scoped, controlled, and revocable.
That’s the agent-authority problem worth solving.

Where should an AI agent’s authority live: the application, the agent, or the participant?
I think most agent stacks get this wrong.
An API key, OAuth token, or JWT can give an agent access.
But access ≠ authority.
Here’s the distinction 🧵
The bigger idea isn’t “put AI agents on a blockchain.”
MOI is positioning itself as an identity and authority layer for agents, not another general-purpose L1 competing with Ethereum or Solana.
The interesting primitive is the participant-held authority underneath the agent.
