Author, Finding Meaning: The Sixth Stage of Grief. Coauthor-Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, On Grief & Grieving & Life Lessons & You Can Heal Your Heart with Louise Hay
Happy 4th of July. Holidays can make loss feel even deeper. A widow was told, “It’s great we’re all together!” She replied, “We’re not really all together.” Love to those with us and those we miss. Who are you missing today?
Wishing everyone a peaceful memorial day… missing those no longer with us. Many have served this country that I will never know, but I will always owe. Today we remember those and their families who made the ultimate sacrifice of their life.
Who do you remember today?
Grief is hard. But when grief and trauma collide, it can feel devastating—your body and mind stuck in the moment of loss. If you’re experiencing traumatic grief, you’re not alone. I created a new program to help you find steadier days.

As a grief expert and a bereaved person I don’t believe in closure. We don’t “close the door” on someone we love.
The media asks people after tragedy: “Did you get closure?” That creates the illusion grief has an ending. It doesn’t.
Peace is real.
Closure is a myth.
agree?
💔 Grief is always wanting more.
It softens and reshapes, but never ends.
Even years later, something in us still whispers, “I wish they were here.”
That yearning isn’t weakness — it’s love, still reaching.
What does your “wanting more” look like these days?
Grieving isn’t only about missing the person we’ve lost. It’s mourning the future we’d dreamed up together, the plans, & the life we saw ahead. It’s a sorrow for all the ‘what could have beens’ that were left behind. Is there a part of grief you think others don’t understand
When a loved one dies, it’s not a test or a blessing. Nothing makes grief hurt less — but finding meaning helps us grow, change, and heal.
Who do you remember? Say their name.
As long as we remember them, they never fully die. 💜
Diane Keaton (1946–2025)
“I wish I’d worked harder… experienced people more instead of protecting myself.”
Even at the height of brilliance, she stayed disarmingly human.
A voice of honesty, humor, and reflection — reminding us to take more risks, love more deeply, and live while we can.

Toxic positivity, even if well-intentioned, often dismisses one’s pain in grief.
In grief, actions are often stronger than words. Have people tried to cheer you up after loss?
Grief hurts. When a friend, family member, or client is in grief, it’s so hard to know what to say or do.

If you or a client faced sudden loss — what helped?
💔 Grief has a soundtrack — and last night at the VMAs, Alex Warren sang it.
Many of you remember his powerful AMA song. His music carries the weight of loss & the hope of healing. Check out our Spotify conversation yet, I hope you’ll listen. 🎶✨ https://t.co/CnjYcq5ZWy
On this day—Mother Teresa’s death day—I remember her.
Her words still echo in me: the grieving and the dying need only tender, loving care. Nothing more.
Not advice. Not timelines. Not conditions. Just love.
When you’ve walked through grief, what kind of love helped you most?
It time!! Whether you’re a therapist, coach, or someone who’s been through this dark nights & wants to turn your pain into purpose, this training is for you.
