Assistant Principals, let’s be intentional.
Make sure you’re creating an environment where teachers feel welcomed, seen, and valued—even beyond the classroom. One small but impactful thing I wanted to do was create a space where teachers felt comfortable stopping by, even if just for a moment.
So, I set up a simple coffee bar in my office—a space where they can grab a fresh cup of coffee to start their day. ☕️ It’s not about the coffee. It’s about the culture. It’s about the gesture. It’s about letting them know, “This office is a safe space. You are welcome here.”
As leaders, it’s often the small, thoughtful things that build bridges of trust and connection. We’re not just managing operations—we’re cultivating community.
