I was looking forward to the Steam machine but with over $2K CAD for a 2TB with controller, I would rather stick with my pc and get a PS5 Pro instead for $1K CAD.

For people who don’t have a pc and was looking forward to buying a steam machine, my suggestion would be to build a pc even in this economy would be a better idea than this.

What do you guys think? Are you getting a steam machine?

Well this is pretty much undeniable now, Geralt gave Ciri here silver sword after the main story in the Witcher 3 in one of the endings called Zireael. Okay so I just did a full stream playing Forza on my TV using ShardCast on my phone.

No laptop next to me, no full capture setup, no dragging OBS into the living room like I’m moving furniture.

Just my iPhone pointed at the TV, face cam running at the same time, and ShardCast handling the stream.

This is literally why I built this app.

Sometimes you don’t need a giant setup. Sometimes you just want to go live from wherever you are and not fight 47 cables before the fun even starts.

ShardCast is basically my attempt at making an OBS-style mobile studio for IRL creators, casual streamers, food streamers, travel streamers, gaming-on-the-couch people, and anyone who looks at their phone and thinks:

“Wait… why can’t this just be my streaming setup?”

Well, now it kinda can.
