In January, I completed my HSE Levels 1–3 and Construction Safety training. In February, I was inducted into the Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers , a proud milestone for me.

I was at a Tech Hub yesterday and met @NuelCreates, one of @BitgetWalletAF's Business Development Managers. I overheard him talking about meeting some KPIs for BitGet Wallet's new feature.

Finding a Web3 genius here isn’t easy, so I was eager to chat.

We discussed their new Local Bank Transfer-to-Wallet feature over a table of cold soy milk. Then, we moved on to talking about Web3 marketing:

- DeFi KOLs
- The next BitGet meetup
- $TON

Throughout, we discussed how difficult it is to find KOLs who can really drive transaction volume for DeFi products.

Most "KOLs" aren't exactly who they claim to be. It's not the sole responsibility of KOLs to hit a project's metrics, but they shouldn’t over-promise either.

We meet you because we believe you can help push volume, but it's okay to tell us what you can realistically do.
