Spent some time with @ChantGod’s latest EP, Sable, and found myself writing far more than I originally intended.
What started as a quick review turned into a deeper conversation about artistry, growth, songwriting, and what it means to build a sound instead of chasing one.
I put together a full article on the project and would genuinely love to hear Chant’s thoughts on it if he gets the chance to read it.
As someone beginning to find my voice as a writer, I wanted to approach the music with the same level of care that clearly went into creating it.

Some people don’t hate what they see they hate what it represents. Nothing unsettles a bitter person more than watching someone they underestimated receive the love, happiness, and acceptance they convinced themselves should belong elsewhere.
Happy Pride and much love to you both ❤️
Boy, I love your music, like I’m truly a fan. I’m not just online talking to you because it’s cute; I’m here to engage because I see your glow-up. I see your glory. I see the presence coming, and you’re deserving of it✨
Just turned my husband into a fan—he loves your music! 🎶 Writing that review made me so happy and gave me the confidence to start publishing more of my work. We all deal with fear-based thinking, but it’s time to step out of the box and branch into something new. Thank you for the inspiration—I’m so glad I could deliver! 🙌 #Grateful #Inspired
Feeling incredibly grateful that things are finally getting back to normal—I’ve worked hard for this and I truly deserve it! 🙏✨ #Gratitude#NewBeginnings
Get his ass. I’m tired of people thinking they can play in our faces and never be held accountable. Seriously, this is some bullshit.
And to those who think proximity to whiteness somehow makes them part of the club, history has repeatedly shown otherwise. COVID-19 made that painfully clear for many people. The moment it became convenient, prejudice and scapegoating came right back to the surface.
But I digress.
And I totally agree with you. The fact that we know they did something, and the fact that we have a Congress that seems not to understand its own power, is mind-boggling. I honestly think it’s all just a game of following whatever the leader says, because this is absolutely crazy.
How do we have all the laws in the world that can completely tear a Black person’s life apart, yet somehow we can’t seem to hold a con artist or a Ponzi-scheme operator accountable? I digress.
