Hello, my name is #elGee.
I'm a #MasterOfCeremonies. I serve a dose of humour where & how necessary.
You may check out this thread for some of my works. My documentations are not yet great but I'll do my best to share.
A trial will convince you more than my narratives will do
The way Kalu responded to Enitan is something I've seen a lot.
Done by me and done to me.
The lesson is in Enitan's response. I believe we can all do better.
Listen.
Listen to learn.
Listen to understand.
Listen enough to ask questions.
Respond with respect.
I INDEPENDENTLY SEARCHED NIGERIA'S BUDGET DOCUMENTS FROM 2019 TO THE PRESENT. HERE IS WHAT I FOUND ABOUT THE PFIPC SCANDAL THAT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT.
THE NAME DID NOT COME FROM NOWHERE
Everyone is focused on Adeyemi the man. Nobody has gone back to ask where the name "Presidential Economic Advisory Council" actually came from. I did. And the answer changes this entire story.
The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is not a Tinubu creation. Tinubu's economic body is called the Presidential Economic Coordination Council. He established it in March 2024, inaugurated it in July 2024, and chairs it himself alongside Dangote, Elumelu, the Senate President and the Governors Forum Chairman. It has a different name, a different structure and a different budget code.
The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is a creation of Buhari. Buhari established it in September 2019 to replace the Economic Management Team that Osinbajo was heading. It had real named members. Prof. Doyin Salami as chairman. Charles Soludo. Bismark Rewane. Eight economists reporting directly to the President with a defined mandate and a legal institutional identity.
When Tinubu came in and created the PECC in 2024, the Buhari-era PEAC was never formally dissolved. No gazette removing it. No Budget Office circular revoking its institutional identity. It simply went dormant. But dormant in Nigeria's government system is not the same as deleted.
That dormant status is exactly what was exploited.
Since YCee has awakened Nigerians to the “Olodo uprising” debate, here’s a report on how the big tech giants weaponize their algorithms to dumb down the Nigerian/African population.
It’s my favorite report for the @Spearhead_Af from last year, but evergreen. Make sure you follow the @Spearhead_Af for more of this every single day.
As a man, when the options present & it is time for you to choose a partner, I hope you choose the soft babe.

Praise the Lord, oh my soul. That’s the reason you were made.
Praise the Lord, oh my soul. Never forget whose you are.
I watched a video on Instagram where Ibukun Awosika was being interviewed by the interior designer that just finished working on one project at the chair center. (Massive building beside my office btw)
When she spoke, she said “well I’ve had this building since i was 38 or so and I’d never really done anything with it…”
Omo na once I close the video, carry my laptop begin work.
This man just moved into our estate, so we got talking. He told me the main reason he relocated was because this area is closer to his children’s school.
I asked, “Weren’t there other schools where you previously lived?”
He replied, “There were, but this is the best school I can afford for my kids.”
What surprised me was that his workplace is still far from both the school and their home. Curious, I asked how he manages the cost of fuel, especially since he leaves home every morning with his wife and children.
His answer was simple but brilliant.
He has a fixed fuel budget for the week. Every morning, he drives the family to the children’s school and parks the car there. Then both he and his wife take public transportation to their respective offices. After work, they meet back at the school, pick up the kids, and drive home together.
When we got married, my husband and I agreed that we won’t entertain visitors for for more than 1 week and they must inform us before coming.
10 months after our marriage, I lost my mum. Guess who had been accommodating my two younger ones for over 3 years?
We sometimes say things due to lack of experience, it is when life present us with the real deal that we know who our people are.
When i was a PA
I realised how much of a security risk a PA and a driver are to any man or woman who is of moderate means in Nigeria.
PA's earn very little and so do drivers but they have access to the life and real time information of their boss and his entire family.
They know when the boss is flying out of the country, when he will return.
They know when the boss's wife and children are flying out of the country, they know when they will return.
They know the schools the children are attending, they know the resumption time and the closing time
They are sometimes detailed to pick the boss's children from school and take them to the mall or anywhere else they may desire to go.
They know things about the boss's family that other members of his own family does not know.
For example, If the boss is having an extramarital affair, the PA knows and so did the driver.
The boss's children's girlfriends and boyfriends which the boss does bot know, the PA knows and so does the driver.
The life of the boss is an open book to the PA and the driver.
To make matters worse, most of the bosses treat the PA and driver u professionally and shabbilly.
This leads to resentment and offence, which the driver and the PA holds against the boss but are powerless to express because they want to keep their jobs.
The exposure to the boss's wealth also gives the PA and driver a sense of entitlement like no other.
I have been in situations where we dropped off the boss for a meeting and had tonwait for him with other drivers and PAs outside the meeting venue.
The drivers and PAs begins to talk and their talk is always about their mean bosses, the mean boss's family and how unfair they were being treated.
Some drivers would joke that they were tempted to turn the car towards an angle on the expressway just to get into an accident to get rid of their bosses.
The other drivers will laugh.
I always observed such discussions and it didnt help that i was a PA to a Pastor and all thebother drivers and PAs at such meetings also have clergymen as their principals.
I must say that no PA or driver that i know ever carried out the evil they often talked about against any of their bosses.
It was all talk.
"Our boss is stingy"
"Our boss would rather allow things to rot and waste rather than give such to us despite knkwing that we dont have much"
"Our boss is a wicked and uncaring man who paid us only our salary and wouldn't even give us a loan in times of emergency"
One of the drivers i know deliberately remained a muslim because he claimed that he had driven his boss for over twenty years and the boss never stepped his foot into hos house to visit him.
The boss kept their relationship professional and he felt that was the height of callousness".
This is why i dont have a PA.
I dont think I can never have one.
I also prefer to drive myself, despute having four drivers under my employment at the moment.
I keep them strictly on the job and off my personal life and space.
It is better to eat your dry morsels in peace than expose yourself to people who come into your space looking for employment only to turn against you and open the door for kidnappers, armed robbers, assassins and other evil.
My opinion.

If you opened IG and saw a reel from your Pastor and the reel song was say Asake or Mavo, you'd be shocked abi? No wam
But you make reels using the same set of songs and you're fine.
You expect some level of consecration from your Pastors but you think you're exempted from displaying same level consecration.
If you expect that level of consecration from your Pastors, it also applies to you.
I’m amazed at people who are addicted to consuming content that triggers them.
Can never be me. If the algorithm starts to move weird, I immediately start pushing the “not interested” and “show less content like this” buttons.
Withdrew N50k in cash this morning. To see how long it will last.
My thinking is it should take me till the end of the month. Or close.
We’ll see how it goes.
I hope we all know that it only takes one catastrophic event in a large gathering of believers for those in authority to ban public gathering of believers in large numbers in this country.
Many Nigerian Christians are in denial, a pretentious one. You cannot wake up someone who is pretending to be asleep. We are at war with islamic terrorism and the instruments of state are being used to back terrorists. When we wake up, we will do what is right!
I met this young man some years ago
Handsome to look at, articulate, and very confident
A Christian, a father of two children, and a husband
He and his wife were attending a church somewhere in FESTAC
The pastor controls their home; by that I mean, the pastor controls his wife
The wife worked with an NGO
The husband worked with a bank, but he was one of those young men who learnt how to play the keyboard as a young man, and he was very good at it
It was what his wife saw in him that made her invite him to her church
It was the same thing the pastor saw that made him offer to give him leadership of the church choir and paid employment as choir director
He took the job because the offer was juicy but also because his wife, who was then just an acquintance followed him up closely on the offer
She went above and beyond to convince him to take the job
It was the above-and-beyond effort of this woman that led to her getting pregnant and subsequently to their marriage.
After they got married, this man realised that this pastor was an idol his wife worshipped
She was one of those women who lacked the ability to think for themselves or make any major decisions or even the minor ones, without the input and blessing of their pastor
It got so bad that whenever he dared question anything the pastor said, his wife would give him the silent treatment until he apologised or promised never to slander a "Man of God" anymore.
Things became worse after he got the conviction to take up a job abroad
The offer came out of nowhere, and it was a multinational opportunity that included sponsorship and allowance for his wife and family to help them relocate from any nation of the world to Canada.
He saw this as the answer to all his prayers.
First, the job was an opportunity of a lifetime.
Second, the job will keep as much distance as possible between his wife and this pastor, whom he was sure she was not having any physical relationship with, but who had taken over her mind completely
Third, he had wanted to leave his position as the choir director of that church for some years, but his wife made it clear to him that once he leaves the position and the church, he should forget about his marriage and his children.
She said this to him without mincing words.
He loved his wife and children, and he had stayed in the church and swallowed as much as he could with humility because the consequences were too dire for him to consider.
When he told his wife about the job offer, she ran off to inform the pastor
The pastor said, "No!"
His wife returned home and told him that she would have gladly travelled with him, but her place of assignment was in that church, and she wouldn't trade her divine destiny for all the riches in this world.
He accepted the job offer and filled out all the necessary documents
His wife told him he was wasting his time
It got so bad that he reported her to her parents and also got his own parents involved
His wife said he could leave, but she was not going anywhere
His wife's mother told him to go and pray
"I have never seen my daughter in such a disagreeable state before. She must be under a spell; you are her husband. Go and pray. I will also pray. This is not ordinary."
This was why the young man came to me.
He wanted me to pray with him that the scale in the eyes of his wife may fall off
I asked him if he still attended church on Sundays
He said yes
I asked him who the strongest female influence in the church was
He thought about it and mentioned a name
I said, "After service this Sunday, go and talk to this woman. Don't accuse the pastor of any wrongdoing directly, just insinuate that you suspect he is sleeping with some church members, your wife included, and you would like him to stop, or you will go public."
He did so.
That same day, the pastor, his wife, and this woman of influence visited their house
His wife couldn't contain her joy
Her idol was visiting her home for the first time in many years
The pastor's wife and the woman of influence watched her every move
As the husband, he stayed as aloof as possible.
His wife was all over the pastor
She couldn't help herself; he was God to her
The next day, the pastor called his wife and encouraged her to take up the offer to travel abroad with her husband
When she protested, the pastor said, "God told him to tell her so."
That was how the wife agreed to the move
Two months later, the family relocated to Canada, and this man was able to get his wife away from this pastor's influence.
PS: You often wonder how some people got fanatical followers despite how silly whatever they were doing is.
You see some religious figures commanding a huge followership, and you wonder why...
Human beings are one of the easiest beings to domesticate. Some of the most brilliant minds are so gullible, easy to program and manipulate by dullards in the name of spiritual leadership
There’s a popular anecdote about Joseph Stalin that goes as follows.
One day, the dictator of the Soviet Union told his closest advisors that he would show them how easy it was to control a person who had already been subjugated. He brought in a live chicken, which he then proceeded to pluck until it was naked and bleeding.
“Now, watch where the chicken goes,” Stalin said as he put it on the ground. Finally freed from its torturer’s grasp, the chicken wasted no time getting away. However, when it failed to find an exit, it readily returned to Stalin and attempted to warm itself between the dictator’s legs. Stalin then took out some grain from his pocket, which he fed to the chicken.
Some people, under the guise of religious ability, would dispossess other human beings of their reasoning ability and feed them corn in return for their loyalty.
Such people usually have a big ego and a larger-than-life personality that can easily be punctured by three things
1) Rumor
2) Reputational Destruction and
3) Innuendo
While these three things are negative and must be seriously discouraged, the threat of them is always enough to scare a man who depends on his reputation to keep his myth into doing the right thing.
