I took this vehicle's picture because of the Hausa inscription on it. The one at the top is "A gama lafiya" which basically means safe travels. The one I'm really interested in is the second one that reads "Hassada mugun ciwo" which means envy is a terrible disease. In the second picture is a screenshot from our regular ambassadors of envy, replying to a post from US Mission in Nigeria that's Celebrating Tunde's Guinness World Record feat.
Envious people are sick people. They know no joy or bliss. They're haunted by the progress of others. Indeed, envy is a terrible disease.
@satoshisidechic@tokunbo_wahab@tokunboxyz What exactly is the complaint here? How do u expect a project to start without first hearing the proposal and reviewing the budget? That’s not waste, that’s due process. Even the China u mentioned plans before execution. You think they just wake up and start building highways?
@okey_umeh @funshographix If you’re truly concerned about Nigeria’s unity, it shouldn’t be difficult for you to speak up when Yorubas are being denigrated just as it was easy for you to comment under a post celebrating Yoruba achievements. I couldn’t found one single tweet. Say no to hypocrisy.
@okey_umeh @funshographix I will celebrate my tribe the best way I believe it should be celebrated. You’re free to do yours too. I checked your tweets and I couldn’t find where you have cautioned the people denigrating the Yorubas. The era of gaslighting is over.
@okey_umeh @funshographix Like I said, it’s important to understand that Yoruba excellence is not tied to Nigeria. Yorubas are indigenous to other countries as well. As a Yoruba man, I will always celebrate Yoruba excellence, and I will never have any problem with you celebrating yours.
@DAhaoma@funshographix As how exactly? Did the post attack any tribe? Since when did it become a problem to highlight the achievements of your own people? Who is stopping you from doing the same? And this “other side” you’re talking about, who exactly is that? Dem dey craze?
@okey_umeh @funshographix You should keep this same energy when people are also denigrating Yorubas. And it’s important to understand that Yoruba excellence is not tied to Nigeria. Yorubas are indigenous to other countries as well. Say no to gaslighting.
@Bee_toons@Arewa_Source You can just share your opinion without mentioning Yoruba. You’re entitled to your opinion, but leave Yoruba alone. No one cares if you’re a Yoruba man or not. What does being a Yoruba man have to do with what you just said?
@omoxoje@Lanre6 How many times? Lookman assisted him twice and even made another assist to Akor after he was subbed. It was after Bruno shoot the ball without passing to him that he reacted that way which was very wrong. Even when Bassey and the captain tried to calm him, he disrespected them.
