Guys, my mum runs a small food bank in Peckham every last Saturday of the month from 12-3pm. Particularly with west african food, please share for whoever it can reachโค๏ธ.
Just found this encouraging bible verse
Isaiah 43:2
When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
In the Bible when Job lost everything. He hit rock bottom and God stepped in and blessed him 3x more than before. You can be down to your last and God will step in & show you why he made you wait.Patience is the key. Trust God no matter what your circumstances look like now. ๐๐พ
โFor how long shall we live like this?โ
A resurgence of fighting in DR Congo has seen tens of thousands added to the nearly seven million who have been forced from their homes in the country because of multiple conflicts.

Out of respect for my hosts I kept my cool but this one lit a fire of rage & suffering within me that Iโm still feeling. My brothers & sisters back home I pray for you & your fight & ask all to educate yourselves & support Congo in its fight against violent oppression #FreeCongo
Instead of defending those who have offended a group, why not take advantage of your influence and platform to educate yourself and raise awareness - This is not a Congolese problem. This is a humanity issue.
"My clothing, everything from the past 23 years, all my belongings, is away...is gone,"
"The tent was like my home. It was where I found peace.
"I feel devastated you know."
He said he had been given no notice about the removal of his tent.

May her soul rest in peace. Still such a shocking tragedy that feels weโve quickly moved past. Elianne isnโt a martyr, she deserves to be alive, to do the stuff teenage girls do, live out her dreams. A sad sad indictment on society that her life ended this way.
