APPEAL FOR SUPPORT

Dear fellow Ghanaians,

I humbly appeal to your benevolent and compassionate hearts at this critical moment.

Three siblings — Emmanuella Etu Bentil (JHS 1), Janet Bentil (JHS 1), and Alvin Bentil (Class 3), all students of St. Faistina R/C Basic School, Ngleshie Amanfro in the Ga South Municipality, are currently battling for their lives after a tragic fire incident.

The children live with their parents at Lamptey Mills, a suburb of Kasoa. On Monday night, while preparing for their examinations scheduled for the next day, they lit a candle to study due to the unstable power supply that has affected their area for several weeks. Sadly, they fell asleep and the candle sparked a fire that trapped them in the room.

All three children sustained serious burn injuries and are currently receiving treatment at different health facilities:
•Janet Bentil is on admission at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
•Alvin Bentil is admitted at the ICU of Ridge Hospital.
•Emmanuella Etu Bentil is receiving emergency care at the 37 Military Hospital.

The fire completely destroyed their home, leaving the family devastated and without shelter.

We are therefore pleading with benevolent Ghanaians, corporate bodies and NGOs to come to the aid of this family, especially in helping to cater for the mounting hospital bills.

Any form of support will be deeply appreciated. May God bless you for your kindness and compassion. 🙏
