South Africa doubles down on more racist laws. Gas Bill B6-2026 has some real constitutional pressure points.

Section 2(h) of South Africa's Gas Bill B6-2026:

“(h) promote companies in the gas industry that are owned or controlled by black people in accordance with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 2003 (Act No. 53 of 2003), and any other relevant gas sector-specific codes or requirements, as may be applicable from time to time;”

Why ownership & control rather than skills, capital, experience or socioeconomic disadvantage?

Simple. Because they are not really interested in advancing anything other than themselves and a few connected friends.

Section 28 of Gas Bill B6-2026 gives the Minister enormous control. It's complete power-grabbing madness. Section 28(4) allows the Minister to specify who constructs, manages, maintains or operates them 😂 Of course it does...

The supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law was a founding value. Government therefore cannot simply give an executive official unlimited discretion.

Where's the guard against arbitrary or politically motivated decisions? "National interest" 😂

Ms. Van Heerden was last seen at approximately 18:57 on Wednesday, 5 August 2026. As she arrived at 123 Mimosa Road, Northcliff, Johannesburg, and exited the Uber vehicle, she was forced into another vehicle by unidentified individuals.

Preliminary information indicates that Ms. Van Heerden was taken against her will by at least three unidentified individuals upon her arrival at her place of residence.

Ryan Geyer, 35, an Afrikaner father of two small children (Nathan, 4, and Morgan, 2), was murdered on his smallholding in Swavelpoort (Zwavelpoort), east of Pretoria near Boschkop.

Two attackers forced entry by firing shots through the front door locks. One carried a firearm, the other a steel pipe. Ryan’s wife Bronwyn (33) ran for the panic button. The man with the pipe chased her. Meanwhile, Ryan fought the gunman. The attacker shot him dead at point-blank range, right in front of his wife.

Then the scum shoved Ryan’s body into a cupboard and forced Bronwyn in there with her husband’s corpse. They locked them in and left. Nothing was stolen. Not a single item taken. Just the deliberate slaughter of a young White father and the sadistic torment of locking his widow in a cupboard with his dead body.

Bronwyn was too shocked to speak to the press the next day. The children were somewhere in the house during the attack.

Lt Col Gavin The-Kisho of Boschkop police called it a “robbery.” Nothing was robbed. This was an execution on a smallholding, classic pattern; forced entry, point-blank shooting, extreme cruelty, zero material gain.
