Here is a good reason why you should have your house/business premises tested regularly. As for new private housing is changing there tests to mandatory five year safety checks from the 1st of July 2020.

As for existing tenancies this will apply from the 1st of April 2021.

Some dilapidation work carried out for a customer. New supply, cabling and switching throughout as for everything else from Distribution board,sockets etc was old.
