Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla shared multiple posts on X insulting French soccer player Kylian Mbappé, saying he is "pretending hard to be French," after his team defeated Paraguay in a World Cup match on Saturday. "This brute never even learned how to write," Amarilla also wrote.
The French team captain, who was born in Paris, fired back on Monday, describing Amarilla's remarks as "brazen racism," adding that she does not represent Paraguay.
"Through your recklessness and your brazen racism, the entire world has already forgotten the journey and the historic effort that your players accomplished during this World Cup, making way for an incompetent woman who gives the worst possible image of her country," Mbappé wrote.
Another copycat event on the day of the columbine high school massacre anniversary! The guy was carrying this AI image of him with Dylan Klebold throughout the event.
Everyone telling me that I missed the opportunity of a lifetime and should have made thousands of dollars while I tried not to put a single spam ad out there for four years so that people could enjoy good mystery stories...
