TAGUIG GHOST INFRA PROJECTS UPDATE # 3:
Ang daming damning (evidence).
The plot thickens.
The list lengthens.
The case strengthens.
Kung merong ‘shoot sa balde’, meron ding
SHOOT SA KALDERO.
ON OVP’S REQUEST FOR SPECIAL FOOD ARRANGEMENTS: There’s still around P22.6M out of the original P27.5M budget under the 2025 GAA available for the impeachment trial to feed and quench the thirsts of both the prosecution and defense teams, their support staff and witnesses and for other impeachment related activities.
That said, we cannot pay the OVP’s caterer without violating the procurement law.
TAGUIG GHOST INFRA PROJECTS UPDATE # 2:
From P2.085B as earlier reported we found three-P100M additional slope protection projects for a new total of P2.385B insertions under the 2025 GAA. Two items appear to be double appropriations, involving two (2)-P100M for the same slope protection project. One of the two must be ghost.
TAGUIG GHOST INFRA PROJECTS UPDATE: We have documented at least 2 case studies so far. Too many P100M slope protection and drainage projects totaling P2.085B out of the P6.79B insertions under the 2025 GAA.
There is no turning back!
Kapag magagaling ang mga abugado ng prosekusyon at depensa, masarap makinig; ang dami nating natutuhan. Ang problema, kapag may umentra na senator-judge na ‘bopol’, nakaka-bobo naman. Win some, lose some.
I had attended many court trials especially during my law enforcement days. I never witnessed a counsel, either for the prosecution or defense lecture a judge on the Constitution, Rules of Court and leading jurisprudence. Awkward and shameful!
Memories bring me back to 2001 when then newly installed President GMA unleashed the massive resources of her administration to accuse me, a newly-elected senator, of amassing ill-gotten wealth from illegal drugs and stashing unimaginable amounts of money in some foreign banks.
I didn’t back down and proved them wrong - going as far as publicly challenging my accusers by signing a formal waiver to open my bank accounts.
Long and short, the main characters - the late BGen Victor Corpus, Ador Mawanay, etc. retracted and even publicly apologized.
Integrity is my most precious inheritance from my late parents, despite our poverty - not through lectures and reminders, but by the power of their own examples.
My integrity is my first and last line of defense and I will fight to defend it with all my might. Sen Cayetano has crossed the line by attacking it.
As of this morning, I’m still counting informants and witnesses, directly or through intermediaries, willing to provide information and evidence to put him in his proper place - the Payatas, QC jail.
Out of his P6.79B budget insertions under the 2025 GAA, 68 out of the 70 projects were implemented. So, only 2 projects, equivalent to around P75M are left unreleased or unobligated. In short, a total of P6.715B ang nagastos. While you do the math, we will keep digging.
Let me correct Sen Alan Cayetano’s latest live selling on FB using wild insinuations and black propaganda against me.
Hindi nag-doble ang net worth sa SALN ko in 2025 compared to 2022 when I left the Senate. Actually, more than four times ang increase at P244.9M compared to P58.7M in 2022 - the year I left government.
Whatever money I have, I definitely earned legitimately through some real estate deals and other legitimate businesses with 2 other business partners as a private individual, and I paid P10.5M and P2.8M respectively as reflected in my ITR’s.
Unlike Sen Cayetano with P6.79B in budget insertions under the 2025 GAA, wala akong insertions a.k.a. pork barrel since I became a senator. At lalong wala akong 25% kickback sa mga slope protection and other infra projects. I don’t know about him, but I have consistently refused lobby monies in relation to my job as a legislator.
And yes, re Blue Ribbon hearings, huwag siyang mainip, meron ding ghost sa Taguig.
Tolerated or not, their city engineer, a self-styled BGC boy, is using 2 aliases in casinos and has a lifetime win-loss record of almost P0.5B in just one of several casino hotels in Metro Manila.
DAY 6: A fellow senator-judge has jokingly asked me if he can move for the division of the house every time he feels annoyed by manifestations obviously irrelevant to the impeachment trial. I told him, a motion to adjourn will elicit more applause from the equally annoyed gallery.
It’s a MIRACLE! Naka wheel chair pumasok, brisk walk lumabas.
Kudos to UP-PGH for putting professionalism and integrity above all other considerations in submitting their medical report to the Sandiganbayan.
@MegaKapamilya Thank you Cong Lean. In spite of risking your standing with what you referred to as DDS who are definitely not my “fans”, and under pain of being bashed, you still spoke well of me and our shared advocacy of fighting against the very corrupt ‘pork barrel’ system.
Day 3: I commend my fellow senator-judges for keeping our cool and not engage a colleague who has been lecturing us since Day 1 of the impeachment trial, as if being not members of the bar, we will be less judicious in rendering fair judgment.
Alex Eala didn’t disappoint us with her loss in the fourth round of the Wimbledon Championships. Failure is not measured by one defeat. She continues to inspire and motivate our youth who dare to dream big beyond their means. That makes her a true champion.
The decision on the status of the sealed BIR ITR records will be dictated by law and existing jurisprudence. The Impeachment Court will not and cannot be above the law. No one else is.
She is the detoxifier that our country’s highly toxic atmosphere needs and an influential unifier of a deeply divided nation. Thank you Alex Eala for lifting the Filipino spirit. God bless you and the Philippines.
REVERSE TRIAL: The prosecutor may just sit and watch with folded arms while the respondent argues against himself and the damning evidence that he himself presented in plain view of all the witnesses who watched his ‘admission against interest’ on national TV.
