DISNEY PLUS PHILIPPINES LAUNCH REVIEW

With Disney+ Philippines finally launching, Disney has provided its Filipino fans a delight when it came to the official launching of the service.

@Deja__View Its good to note that it's only the UI which is good. We cant even stream in full HD in browsers! Not unless you have Safari.

Overall, Disney delivered on giving Filipinos one of the best, if not the best launches. They gave us an event, packages, countdowns, and performances with that magical Disney touch. Salamat, Disney for providing us Filipinos this wonderful event. #DisneyPlusPH

LAUNCH PROPER
The app launched early. Some could download and sign in in the late hours of Nov. 16, mainly iOS users. With that Disney+, has finally launched and became available on Google Playstore, the Web, and other services in the early hours of November 17.

With Philippines finally entering the Disney+ landscape, I expect Disney to tap in Filipino content to the streaming service. This could further entice Filipino viewers to subscribe.

DISNEY APAC TO DEBUT LOCAL CONTENT

The Walt Disney Company is once again hosting a content showcase for the Asia-Pacific Region. This would be held in Singapore on November 30. In this event, Disney is expected to showcase its content on the big screen and on Disney Plus.

Last year’s content showcase featured titles such as Moving, Snowdrop, BLACKPINK: The Movie, Rookies, Tokyo MER, Summer Time Rendering, BLACK ROCK SHOOTER DAWN FALL, Shipwreck Hunters, etc.
