One thing every couple must learn:
Fight for your unity.
When husband and wife begin fighting each other, they can become so focused on winning the argument that they forget they are on the same side.
I once heard of a couple who stopped speaking to each other for days because of an argument. The baby was Sick and the holy Spirit told the husband:
“While you were busy fighting each other, the enemy was attacking your child.”
That statement stayed with me.
Strife does not only affect the two people arguing. It can affect the atmosphere of the entire home. The enemy wants to use offense, secrecy, pride, suspicion, unresolved conflicts and poor communication to create cracks in what God designed to be one.
Marriage is bigger than two individuals. God has a purpose for the family beyond the husband and beyond the wife. So don't protect your ego at the expense of your home.
Talk, be honest. Listen, Apologize,Forgive.
Seek counsel when necessary.
Learn how to resolve conflict.
Don't fight each other.
Fight together for your marriage, your children, your peace, and everything God wants to accomplish through your family.
“...and they shall be one flesh.” — Genesis 2:24
The most tragic thing you can do is die without Christ.
You can lose everything in this life and still win.
But if you die without Christ, you have lost what matters eternally.
Maybe you are not famous.
Maybe you have no great achievements to your name.
Maybe the world barely notices you.
But God sees you.
And Jesus is not merely calling you to become a better person. He is calling you to Himself.
You can come to Him today.
You can surrender your life to Him.
You can receive His forgiveness and begin again with Him.
Don’t wait until death to think about eternity.
Choose Christ today. Your soul is worth more than this world can offer.
It is foolishness to want to spend eternity with a God you had no time for on earth.
You had time for work, money, entertainment, relationships and everything else.
But God? “No time.”
Yet you expect death to suddenly make you desire Him?
If you want eternity with God, know Him now.
Seek Him now. Love Him now. Surrender to Him now.
“Now is the day of salvation.” — 2 Corinthians 6:2
I was praying today, asking God to help me become better and not fall into the things that can destroy me.
Then the Holy Spirit pointed me to something in Genesis 4 that I had read many times before.
Cain was rejected. Abel was accepted. Cain became angry and his countenance fell.
But what struck me was not just Cain’s disappointment. It was what God said next:
“Sin lies at the door… but you should rule over it.”
And I realized something:
One of the clearest ways to measure your growth is not by how you behave when things are going your way, but by how you respond when they are not.
When you are rejected, overlooked, when someone else is chosen instead of you.
When another person receives the opportunity you prayed for.
That is when things can begin to rise in your heart. Things like, Jealousy, Bitterness, Resentment, Comparison, The desire to see them fail.
Herod heard that another King had been born and saw His arrival as a threat. How did he respond, wasted many lives.
But God told Cain:
“You should rule over it.”
The feeling may come, but you don't have to give it permission.
The thought may knock, but you don't have to open the door.
Sometimes spiritual growth is simply learning to say:
“This is in my heart, but I will not let it rule me.”
Because the real test may not be what happens when you are chosen.
It may be who you become when you are not.
Mr. @DipoAdepoju thank you.
You may have simply given away an account, but to me, you gave me another opportunity at a time when I really needed one.
I don't take this lightly.
Now I get to try again, wiser, more disciplined and more intentional.
Thank you, sir. 🦅
God is using men beyond the walls of the church.
Look at that transformation
He who Snatched us from the kingdom of darkness, the grip of death and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.
Hallowed be your name
