Reminds me of the story of some Chinese celebrity who suddenly found her social credit score had gone to zero, and had her accounts and everything locked.

Her crime: multiple Jaywalking offences.
BUT
Not only hadn’t she done so, she was doing it all over the country simultaneously.

Turned out the facial recognition cameras were picking up her face from bus advertisements.

So every time a bus went through an intersection, there she was <cough>jaywalking<cough>

Can’t remember how long it took for her to get that Orwellian tale resolved.

My biggest issue with this is that without sound financial education, the majority of these kids will either have it stolen by a relative at some point, get themselves swindled by deceptive practices and scams somewhere, or most likely will use it to buy a toy (eg boat or muscle car).

Years ago I knew a girl who worked at Yellowstone for a summer.

She told a story of how some parents thought it’d make a really good photo op to smear honey on their kid’s face and have a bear lick it off.

The rangers then had spend the next couple of weeks trying to determine which bear now associated honey with the taste of human after it ate the kid’s face.

I believe the kid survived, but was extremely disfigured.

I have a suggestion for a new Dilemma, granted it needs to be fleshed out but here are the bones:

The Islamic Dilemma - Honesty variant

Compare how islam makes allowances and actively encourages lies and deceit especially through taqiyya.
Both from allah being the “best of all deceivers”, and Momo not having to honour a promise to his wives to not bang slave girls in their beds because allah hadn’t told him to make such a commitment.

With Joshua 9 and the treaty with the Gibeonites without consulting with The Lord first.

Despite this disobedience to neither fulfill the command to clear the land of the current inhabitants or consult with God first the Israelites are directed to honour the treaty.

So the question is:
If God’s nature is unchanging and the karen [intentional] follows on from the tradition of the previous scriptures, one would expect to see this consistency from age to age.

First God requires the Israelites to honour an unsanctioned treaty.
Now we have a god who tells us we can reneg on agreements at will if allah either hasn’t sanctioned them or they are disadvantageous.

What changed?

God goes from holding honesty and standing upon one’s word,

Darializa herself should not be seated in the House because of her own personal support for the destruction of the West and this country. Speaker Johnson should take up the issue based on grave concerns regarding her potential fidelity to to the oath of office. I've said this multiple times now.

There is a real question on the table here -- does the oath of office actually mean something, or is it just boilerplate? If the oath is a meaningful component of qualifying for elected office, then it's very difficult to see how any DSA member can hold office in good faith.
