@sweetcheeser@moonknightsunc@John_F_kJr The states that have those security features is a much smaller list compared to the states that don’t.
If every state imprinted their ballots and didn’t send it to every registered voter that didn’t ask for it, I’d have less of a concern.
@moonknightsunc@sweetcheeser@John_F_kJr I think with that same logic Mail-in ballots could be scammed in similar ways, someone prints up a few hundred thousand ballots, fills them out, drops them off and somehow have boxes full of just one candidate checked…. But from what everyone is saying, it can’t happen.
@sweetcheeser@John_F_kJr And 13 states send ballots to every registered voter even if they don’t know if the voter moved or passed or even out of the area for any other reason. Why don’t we have online voting with those computers and cellphone?
@BristolTra55199@John_F_kJr Have you read the executive ordered signed YOUR president? Because YOUR president would still be able to vote under it, just like you could if you wanted too. Unless you’re not even American, I don’t know you Tracy.
@JRohde75496@John_F_kJr That sounds amazing! I bet you have a bit more trust in your elections.
But in America, you’re a racist radical for wanting what the rest of the world can do.
@RiverdaleRay61@John_F_kJr health falls in that absentee ballot category too! There are currently 13 states that mail ballots to every voter. How do they know if the individuals haven’t moved, passed away or are abroad if that individual didn’t tell the state?
@DeniseSmith67@John_F_kJr Im sorry for your loss. I’ve known people that worked so much they’d get an absentee ballot because they knew they might not make it in person.
@BeowolfeA@John_F_kJr Well the executive order will fundamentally make them the same for sure and I’m ok with that! Disabled, military, students and so many more people will be able to vote by mail
@Buttercup1956@John_F_kJr How long do you stand in line to vote? I’m in and out in 15 minutes.
And to answer your question, I hate standing in line but unfortunately I’ve done it all throughout my life.
@kingxeph@John_F_kJr It’s a trust issue, I don’t trust our government. To many times they say one thing and do another. And if you’re working more than 13 hours a day, you can probably apply for an absentee ballot, I know people that have.
@KB_CB84@John_F_kJr You’re the one responding with insult after insult, please tell me why they couldn’t use an absentee ballot. What are the requirements for an absentee ballot?
@KB_CB84@John_F_kJr You probably use the same argument for voting ID’s? I can assure you voting has been a thing since before cars and there were more rural areas than big cities. If they can’t make it to the ballots absentee ballots are always an option.
