@IanColdwater I picked up a used 14 inch M1 Pro I usually sit at ~13 gigs used while running a browser full of tabs, pycharm, VS code and email. Even if I start to approach my 16 gig limit I don’t notice any performance hits. M3 pro is likely your best bet.
