💔 In 2003, Stan Beaton tragically lost his wife, Ruby, to cancer.

In the following years he found comfort in listening to her recorded voicemail, just so he could hear her voice.

He listened to it for over 11 years to perk himself up. Then, one day, the message was suddenly deleted after a system update.

Stan was distraught.

Desperate, he contacted the phone company, Virgin Media, who swiftly responded and put 10 engineers on the case.

After 3 days, the engineers successfully recovered the voicemail. Here’s the moment the recovered voicemail was played back to Stan.
