Of the other others, Stokes definitely the best batsman, peak Flintoff (for a couple of yrs) probably best bowler. Peak Botham the most complete allrounder but he tailed off badly late on

@ViewfromtheBpod It's test cricket, so obviously it's a vast improvement on the hitting contest that white ball cricket has become, but i agree that the conditions and the pitch have put the ball too far on top.

I think, in general, test cricket is a better game when batsmen have to work hard.

@Yas_Cricket He's great if he's coming in with 250-300 on the board with bowlers tired but I don't think he's the man to dig you out of a hole at 40-4 or get you over line in a tight one (Oval v India).

I'll also always hold a grudge for that shot against Labuschagne 🤬

Lyndon James isn't a good T20 bowler but he can't be much worse. Give him and/or James Hayes a go. Just don't go back to Connor McKerr.
