#JeffreyCatherineJones’ “Flash Gordon Faces Reality” from the HERITAGE 1A Fanzine (1971). Two fanzines were published in tandem, the other one being 1B. Jones’ art is just beautiful in this one. I love the panel with Dale and Zarkov on page three. #FlashGordon

Kirk Jarvinen cover. I never met the guy, but I always dug his art on Aquaman Time & Tide and the various other books I'd see his work in. He did a Wolverine short in an X-Men annual that was dynamite.
